Woo! I'm finally upgrading my Resinsoul Ju's body :D

She's getting a MNF body. It's a B-line but the price and level of yellowing was right so yay. Weirdest thing, her head has always been more yellow than her body even though I bought her as a full doll from a dealer. I'm guessing they had them as separate parts and just whacked them together when they got the order though *shrug*. Looking forward to matchy matchy!

Now my issue is what to do with a 3 year old WS Resinsoul body. Would anyone even buy it? What the hell sort of price would I even put on it? Shipping would probably cost more than the body lol.

Ken no Kokoro Amparita02

Here's an exciting thing: I found someone in Australia selling a Ken no Kokoro Amparita02 head.
This lovely lady has been on the ol' wishlist for quite some time but I never really pursued it because of reasons. But there she was! And mine she will be.
For anyone who is not sure who KnK is, she is a Spanish sculptor and her blog can be found HERE.

I am hoping that Amparita02, who is cast by Dollshe and in this particular case is their "oriental skin", will match Fairyland resin closely enough to not be horrible because FL have a most excellent price on Feeple60 bodies right now. Seriously, less than the price of a Minifee body! Coolness! Plus I just sold my Teenie Gem Hawa so I can just about almost afford that. Happy days.

Now to think about faceups and such... I'd really like for Amparita to be a little bit sexy cos since I sold Ava I've been missing someone like that in my crew. Sure, she might not be quite the level of sex kitten that Ava was, but I don't mean for her to be a replacement for Ava, merely someone who can lounge about in her undies as well as Ava did. Hmm... maybe I'll get her a Humming Dolly body in that case. Bah! Decisions! Derailment!

Rosette Leggings!

The number one issue I come across when discussing Rosettes with other doll owners is the clothing thing. There is a limited amount of clothing on the Rosette site and even fewer seamstresses who cater to them. And let's face it, Tonner clothing is lovely, but not everyone wants to be dressed to the nines all the time. So when the chance to be the guinea pig for these here tights from Dorset Clothing came along, I jumped. They were originally made to be slim mini tights but turned out too long to go in the shop so Kit and I got to try them out to see if they would work for a Rosette.

I must say, they're not bad, not bad at all! Leg length is great and they fit around the waist, the crotch is a bit daggy but we are talking Rosette here and the tights were originally made to fit a range of minis like MNF, Narae, Unoa etc. instead of the mantis-like proportions of these girls.

I've been trying to take pictures of these tights for the last week but between my mother visiting and the shitty weather, these were the best I could do for now. This time I've tried the kitchen for lighting and it turns out it's the pits. *pout* On to the pics...

This particular fabric is nice and stretchy which allows for full unrestricted movement, including the kneeling position.

I just purchased my first Nendoroid. I thought it would be only fitting to make Elsie from The World God Only Knows my very first n_n.

Isn't she cute? I need an oversized skull clip too.

Is this the start of a new hobby? Did I just open a ginormous floodgate? I think I will need to buy a little box display type thing with a limited number of display holes and make sure I limit any purchases to fit in that. Ha. Have we met?

Still trying to find a space for my dolls in the new house. Right now they are sharing an office space with boyfriend and his stuff which is not ideal because they are all sort of squished in to a shelf and a half whereas in the old house they were spread across an entire room. I suspect they are cramping his style lol. Ikea trip in the near future for some spare room shelving methinks.

Pascal was the first to get a pic shoot in the new place, was going to take her outside for a little shoot but I that didn't happen. There will be much experimenting to try to find some nice light in the new place ^^ 

We're In!

In the house! Surrounded by boxes and the cat is still hiding behind the bookcase but we're in.
I can't wait to unpack a doll! I've been without my girls for almost a month now and I think I'm having withdrawals lol.

Downside being that my doll room now has a whopping great guest bed in it so not everybody fits. It's been suggested that some downsizing of the collection is in order.... not sure how I feel about that. Stay tuned.

Oh ho ho! The bank did manage to get their stuff together on the final day of the 14 day deadline after some gentle prodding from old elsii and co. The big fat SOLD sticker is up on the sign and now the real packing can begin, rather than the half packing job we've done so far.
